Welcome to Kytäjä in Hyvinkää Finland
It is both a privilege and a great honor for the Senior Golf Association of Finland to welcome all players and delegates to Hyvinkää, a charming town in southern Finland, for the ESGA Super Seniors Team Championship & Cup, taking place from June 29 to July 4, 2026.
Finland is one of the Nordic countries, our language is different from that of the neighbours. With over 168,000 lakes across the country, it is only fitting that our tournament will be held near one - Lake Kytäjä.
Hyvinkää is a small town located north of Helsinki, the capital. Known for its friendly atmosphere and relaxed lifestyle, Hyvinkää offers a warm and welcoming environment.

The tournaments will be held at Kytäjä Golf Club, about 20 minutes from the centre of Hyvinkää. Both of its courses are ranked among the top ten in Finland. The South East Course, set in a scenic mix of rolling hills and lakeside terrain, will host the Championship Tournament, while the North West Course will be the venue for the Cup Tournament.
The main accommodation for participants will be in Hyvinkää, although some teams may wish to be accommodated at Kytäjä Golf Club. The Closing and Prize Giving Ceremony will be held at Hotel Sveitsi in Hyvinkää. The Opening Ceremony and Captains’ Meeting will take place at Kytäjä Golf Club.
A shuttle bus service will be provided between the hotels and the golf courses, scheduled according to players’ tee times. Transportation logistics will be handled by our partner.
Hyvinkää is conveniently located about 50 kilometers from Helsinki-Vantaa, Finland’s main international airport. We will arrange bus transport for incoming teams based on your submitted flight details.
