Board Members

Governance: The ESGA Board

The ESGA is governed by the ESGA Board, which meets five to six times per year, either in physical meetings or online.

The Board members are appointed by the General Assembly and consist of a minimum of five members, each elected for a three-year term. Members may be re-elected and serve until the age of 80, ensuring continuity and experience in guiding ESGA’s activities.

Board Roles & Key Responsibilities

The Board includes: President, Vice President, General Secretary, Tournament Coordinator, Treasurer, Referee, ICT (Information & Communications Technology) Member

A board member may hold more than one role if required.

Beyond managing ESGA operations and giving final approval to the three European team tournaments, the Board is responsible for:

  • Introduction papers to an ESGA member, organizing/applying one of the three ESGA Tournaments.

  • Evaluating potential new member countries to ensure they meet ESGA membership criteria

  • Supporting the growth and development of senior golf across Europe
