The Senior Golf Association of Slovenia is pleased to warmly welcome you to the Jubilee XXV K&K Monarchy Trophy
It is with great pleasure to invite you to our already traditional golf tournament, which will take place in May 2026. This event will be in Slovenia’s oldest town Ptuj. The charming historic centre on the left bank of the Drava River offers plenty to see and experience for everyone who enjoys culture, history, and a pleasant stroll through old streets and squares.
On the right bank of the river, in the newer part of town, you’ll find the well-maintained golf course that will host our competition. The course is just one year older than the tournament itself. We believe you will enjoy its challenges and especially the 'island' hole, which is the main attraction of this course.
We are offering you three different hotels, all near the golf course. Two on the right bank, one in the old centre, and we believe that whatever you choose, you will enjoy the warm hospitality the region is known for.
Over the past 25 years, many friendships have been formed that extend beyond the competition alone. Our meetings are not just about scores and results– although the competitive spirit is always present and important– but also about relaxed conversations, shared stories, and the celebration of the diverse cultures of regions that once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
We look forward to welcoming you to Slovenia and wish you a rewarding tournament, an enjoyable golfing experience, and memorable moments with both new and longstanding colleagues.
