Regionals and Bi-lateral Tournaments

Summary

Six countried of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire - Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, The Chech Republic, Austria and Slovakia - met in Slovenia in the city of Ptuj on the Drava River for the XXV K&K Monarchy Trophy Tournament.

The tournament was played on a beautiful green golf course, where they competed in a three day battle.

Even though it has been played for 25 years, the format of the game is still the same.

Participating countries send two teams (55+) of six members each, and one team (75+) of two members.

• The first day is played in the 4BBB Stableford format

• The second day is played in the Greensome Stableford format with a choice of drives.

• Singles where played on the third day

Each team submitted its two best results daily, and on the third day when the singles were played, four best results counted for each team. The Masters team´s results were calculated by the sum of all net and gross Stableford scores over the three days.
