Swedisch Senior Golf
History
The Swedish Senior Golf Association (SSG) was founded in 2000 and became a member of ESGA the same year. SSG replaced the Swedish Golf Federation (SGF), which had represented Sweden in ESGA since the beginning of the 1980s, as ESGA member.

Activity and member benefits
The activities focus on competitions around Sweden, four during the fall and six during the spring. The results from those competitions are compiled in a ranking format that forms the basis for selection of the teams to represent Sweden in the ESGA Seniors and Masters Tournaments and in different matches against teams from other countries (Germany, Denmark, Norway and UK in 2018). All members are welcome to participate in the national competitions and the ambition is to invite as many players as possible to the international games. The idea is to play at high ranked courses, at discounted prices and to meet under pleasant conditions.
